- We offer academic tutoring in every subject area from elemenary school through college course work. From Calculus to 3rd grade English to Organic Chemistry, Shumsky Tutors can help any student, whether he/she is receiving A’s or D’s. Beyond the work of guiding students through their ongoing coursework, exams, etc., Shumsky Tutors help students to build skills and understand the conceptual framework of the subject matter. By moving from the concrete to abstract, students master the material and build a deep understanding of the their coursework. If a student’s teachers cannot make a subject clear, if mom and dad have reached their breaking point in frustration, Shumsky Tutors can find a way to teach any subject to any student.
